Our Environmental Policy

Palmiye Tekstil respects the environment with its sustainable production policies since 2004, the year of its establishment, and takes as a basis the production methods that will minimize the footprint left in nature by minimizing the effects of production on the environment.

It is Palmiye Tekstil’s priority and its responsibility to future generations to carry out every stage of its production in accordance with the principles of sustainability, without harming the nature and using resources effectively.

With the awareness that our world is facing threats such as climate change, air pollution and harmful wastes, it aims to maintain the approach of protecting the life quality of both its employees and customers with its production and environmental policies as a company policy.

Recyclable materials such as paper and plastic are stored regularly with the waste classification department; all necessary improvements are made in the production line for optimum use of water, electricity and natural gas. Equipment with minimum emission rate is carefully selected for production.

Palmiye Tekstil, the only company in Turkey that can recycle 70% of wastewater, contributes to the preservation of water resources for future generations.

In addition to water conversion, it meets 40% of its total energy needs from the sun, which is a renewable energy, with its 41,500 solar panels.
